nee Podollan passed away on May 23 at Elmview Extendicare in Regina, Sask. Anne was born on September 8, 1918 in the Wroxton District. Anne attended Charkoff School and at age 15 had to stay home to help on the farm. Later she decided to accept employment at various restaurants and the Kamsack Dry Cleaner. In 1945 she married Bill Rudko and the couple moved to Regina. For many years Anne kept herself employed in various housekeeping jobs and supported her church activities. In 1992 Anne retired and went to live at St. Basil’s Senior Complex. In 2003 when Anne’s health failed she was fortunate to be cared for by the staff at Elmview Care Home. Anne was friend to all and was always able to identify the positive in any situation. Her quick wit, humor and integrity immediately come to mind when remembering Anne. Anne was predeceased by her parents Paul and Matrona Podollan(nee Swerhun) sisters, Maryna and Maria, brothers Mike, Nick, Steve and Peter. Anne leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. As well as great niece Debbie Szekely.
