On Monday, June 25, 2012, mom peacefully left us to be reunited with dad, Fritz Beyer, her siblings, brother Stanley (Eveleen) Wiltshire, sisters Betty (Douglas) Mahoney, Josephine (Henry) Green, Patricia (John) Soroka, brother in law (Hans) Jennie Beyer, and sister in law (Freda) John Schoen. Mom was born in England on October 19, 1915. She immigrated to Canada in 1928 with her parents George and Mary Wiltshire and her three sisters. Her brother Stanley stayed in England. They settled in Maidstone. Later mom took a job in Punnichy and married dad. She is survived by her three children Lawrence (Mae) Beyer & Family (Punnichy), Betty (Steve) Hovind & Family (Fillmore), Joseph (Sherry) Beyer & Family (Balgonie). Special thanks to Dr. Gibbons & staff for the excellent care given to her during residence at the Fillmore Health Center. Special thanks to all family and friends for their visits, cards, letters and phone calls. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue at 1:00 p.m. Private Family Interment to follow at Punnichy Cemetery, Punnichy, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Fillmore Health Centre Residence Fund, 100 Main Street, Fillmore, SK, S0G 1N0.
