Beverley Anne Kovatch

January 12, 1934 to November 5, 2021

87 years young

After a brief battle with cancer, but a lifetime of needlepoint, travel, visiting with and being the family glue, Mom passed on Friday, November 5, 2021. Already waiting for her in heaven is our dad and the love of her life, John Kovatch; as well as her parents Phillip and Mary Geiger (nee Chernick); and granddaughter Lauren. Left behind to cherish her memories and the subjects of her adoration are her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: Doug and Shirlene, Karen and Leonard, Glen and Carol and Donna and Brian. We were just vessels for the real sunshine in her life: Jacquie, Chris, Garett, Joel, Kyle and Tricia and all of their spouses, and their kids, Koby, Kali, Lyvia and Mila, Lucius, Tea and Alex. Also left to celebrate her life are her siblings Don, Theresa and Gwen as well as a large extended family, some by DNA and many by choice. Many people will treasure the labour of love through the one hundred plus petit point pictures that she made and gave away; they were each hand stitched with love and care. Thank you to her friends at Regina Village and the angels in nurse uniforms on 3A for all the caring moments that filled her last days with us. A small family celebration will take place on Friday, December 3, 2021. This date was carefully chosen so mom can watch the Rider games from above and watch over us too.
