It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our loving and caring mother, grandmother & great-grandmother on February 15, 2023 at the age of 86 years. Charlotte was predeceased by her loving husband, Ervin; her parents, Anton and Margarethe Wirth; infant brother Heinrich and brother William. She will be forever missed by her children: Rhonda (Rob) Wilkes and their children Jordan, Robbie and Brayden; Charlene (Murray) Hodgins and their children Avery, Angela (Jordan) Williams, great grandchildren Kenadie and Callie; Curtis (Tracy) Hart and son Cody; her sister Erika (Walter) Reich; sisters-in-law Valarie (Don) Reed and Judy Schulz (Wayne Bobowski); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Charlotte was born on December 23, 1936 in Ugartshal, Austria and immigrated to Canada in 1949, settling in Archerwill, SK. Growing up, Charlotte attended Marean Lake and Wiley Schools and was so proud to receive her Grade 12 certificate from Markinch School where she was Valedictorian. She married the love of her life Ervin Hart on October 18, 1958 and in 1966 they moved to the family farm north of Cupar (where Curtis and his family currently reside). There they dedicated their life to raising their family and enjoyed mixed farming. Charlotte had a deep and abiding love for God, being an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Cupar where she sang in the choir and was also a member of LWML. Her love of cooking and baking was enjoyed by all. She also loved camping with her family, gardening, travelling, curling, crocheting and playing cards. Charlotte was a kind and generous woman who cherished her family, valued her friendships and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Charlotte’s family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the General Hospital and Pasqua Palliative Care. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Cupar, SK. with Pastor Bradley Julien officiating. Interment to follow in Cupar Cemetery.
