Daniel passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2016 at the age of 59 years. Born in the Jedberg area, where his dad had farmed for many years, Dan was the youngest child of Steve and Edna Chalus and sibling to his brother Dave. He attended the College of Alberta, worked as a foreman for Sask Abilities in Yorkton and was also a bouncer for Earl’s Hotel in Regina. Dan loved cars and trucks and was a mechanic who loved to work on vehicles. Known as “Big Dan,” he loved to joke around with friends and family and was well liked by everyone who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3rd 2017 at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina.
