Darlene was predeceased by her mother, Hellen; her father, Donald; her brothers, Barry, Leslie (Lefty), Ken; her nephews, Ryan and Darren. She is survived by her son, Dirk; granddaughters, Alyssa and Abbie; daughter, Tracy; granddaughters, Sara and Jess; sister, Debbie; nephew, Trevor; great-niece Kari, and kids, Mariah, Kashtin, Khristopher, Cologial; great-niece, Ashley; and great-great-niece, Deja.
There will be a private ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canada Cancer Society.
