Mr. Edward Clarence Geiger

GEIGER, Ed – On Saturday, August 16, 2008, Ed Geiger of Regina passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 54 years. He is predeceased by his parents Clements and Katherina Geiger and, father in law Frank Augustine and sister inlaw Judy Geiger. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Cora and Children Leahann (Dustin) Delisle of Edmonton, Dwayne Geiger, Natasha (Shawn) Geiger and a very special grandson Taylor Geiger who was his hero. He leaves to mourn his sisters, Linda (Louis) Antonick, Irene Vindevoghel, brothers Tony, John and Garry Geiger, mother in law Gerta Augustine, sisters in law Pat (John) Puff, Frances (Randy) Gaebel, and brother in law John Augustine. He will be greatly missed by his family and all his Aunts/Uncles/Nieces/Nephews and all other family members. He will be remembered by his special friends from the cottage, Maurice and Shannon Lemieux and all other friends. Ed was a loving husband, father and grandpa who loved to spend special time with them Barbecuing/fishing/watching movies and especially Rider games. He worked at Shaw Pipe for 18 years and we know if he could have he would have said his goodbyes to each and everyone of his brothers of Local 180 which he joined in 1986. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Ave. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Holy Child R.C Church, 2636 7th Ave. East with Rev. Lorne Crozon, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. We would like to thank the emergency staff that came to our home and the staff of C.C.U. General Hospital for there excellent compassion to our families and their care for Ed.
