It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved Betty at the age of 76. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years Jack; parents Fredrick and Inga (Kenyon) Adam; brothers John Adam, Steve Adam; brothers-in-law Earl Fletcher, Frank Nameth, Victor Ceslak, Jim Blundell and sister-in-law Joyce Fletcher. Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her four children; Thomas Blundell, Eleanor (Norm) Grohs, Larry (Susan) Blundell and Wendy (Kevin) Lukenoff. Betty also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Lori (Mike) Benoit, Dustin (Pam) Grohs, Owen (Sara) Grohs, Shanna (Ken) Ledoux, Chad (Jennifer) Blundell, Jason (Kim) Blundell, William Blundell, Tannison (Taylor) Legebokoff and Ally Lukenoff as well as 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Hazel (George) Gaudreau, Irene Ceslak, Elaine (Rene) Blundell, sister-in-laws Daisy Adam, Dorothy Nameth, Muriel Blundell and very special friends Ida Beckett, Joyce Dahroug as well as numerous dear cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Elizabeth loved her family and absolutely any sign of new life - from a baby to surround with love to the first blossoms of spring. She loved nature and being outdoors, tenting, fishing and gardening. She expressed her abundant creativity through sewing, liquid embroidery, painting, beading and crafting of all sorts! She fought an inspirational battle against Breast Cancer for over 12 years and was driven to move through the hard times by always looking forward to the next occasion to celebrate with family and friends. We invite you to celebrate a courageous life well lived Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Cuthbert’s Anglican Church, Dysart, SK. Visitation to be held from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M., prior.
