Elsie Sexton

1931 - 2021

Elsie Mae Sexton (nee Hill) most recently of Regina SK passed away at home on December 15, 2021 after a short battle with cancer.

Elsie will be missed by her family and is survived by her children Wanda, Lee (Lynn), Lorie (Kim) and Jayne (Gary). Elsie is also survived by her brother David (Joyce) Hill and brother-in-law Bill Sexton. The many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins were dear to her heart. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Jim, sons Dwayne and Timothy, son-in-laws Terry and Brian, parents Ethel and Ernie Hill, mother-in-law Margaret Olson, father-in-law Frederick Sexton and step father-in-law Magnus Olson. Elsie was also predeceased by a number of dad's siblings and their spouses.

A group of friends, both young and old, will cherish many fond memories.

As a family we would like to thank the palliative care team; the coordinator for quick arrangements, RNs and care aides with the home care program which had allowed us to care for Mom at home. Dr. S. Aronyk has shown amazing compassion and caring during this time.

We want to say a special thank-you for the support of close friends who considered Mom to be their mother and grandmother, they have shared their time to visit with Mom and send caring messages to her.

Flowers are gratefully declined, donations are encouraged to be made to the Regina Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
