It is with great sadness that Florence’s family announces her passing. She was predeceased by her parents Tom & Gertrude Gardner, husband John, brother Tom & sisters Doris & Irene. Left to cherish her memory is her son Larry (Joan), daughter Fay (Donald), grandchildren Connie (Dale), Susan (Leo), Jeanette (Tony), Angelina (Tony), Patricia (Ryan) & Riley (Sarah), great-grandchildren Jacob, Hannah, Kai, Teagan, Tia & Lesley. She is also survived by her brother Maurice (Marie), sisters Hazel & Mildred (Adam), as well as several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the nurses, caregivers and staff who took care of mom at Pioneer Village for the last six years. Special thanks to Brenda McKay for her friendship and countless acts of kindness that she showed to mom on a daily basis. A graveside Funeral Service will be conducted on December 19, 2011. Please congregate at the Victoria Avenue Funeral Home at 2080 East Victoria Avenue at 12:30 pm, where we will proceed in a procession to Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
