Gail Enid McKay

Gail Enid McKay, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Gail was predeceased by her husband Morris McKay; special longtime friend Oscar Orthner; and parents Enid and Edwin Mounteer. She is survived by her two daughters Heather (Mick) Forbes of Regina Beach, and Lynn (Dave) Morrow of White City; five grandsons Jeremy (Nichole) Forbes, Joshua (Jesska) Forbes, Jonathon Forbes, Matthew Forbes, and Donald Morrow; four great-grandchildren; Oscar’s children Judy and Bill (Kathy); and grandsons Derek and Gary Orthner. Gail was born in Saskatoon, SK and resided in Regina, SK for most of her life. She loved to travel, read, do jigsaw puzzles, play cards and most especially, play a good game of tile rummy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff on 4B and 3A at the Pasqua Hospital for their compassion and support during Mom’s stay with them. Cremation with a family graveside service is to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail’s memory can be made to the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7 or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation Saskatchewan 1738 Quebec Ave, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.
