Gerald Alexander Thom

It is with great sadness the family of Gerald Thom announce his sudden passing on Monday, April 4, 2022 at the age of 46 years. Gerry was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Gary and Carol Thom on September 21, 1975.

Gerry is predeceased by his parents Gary and Carol.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Marina Jopp; children Sierra, Colby, Alexa, Penny and Ashley; grandson Cassius; brother Richard (Amy); nieces and nephews Irelynn, Anna, Cheyenne (son Benjamin), Jodyicy, Chase and Kalianna; grandmother Jean Thom; as well as numerous friends who were like family.

Gerry was a proud member of BACA (Biker’s against Child Abuse). He grew up hunting, fishing and camping. His family was everything to him and he loved to tease everyone at every opportunity, and not to forget his love of chicken, pot, and pie!

Gerry was a larger than life man in stature and in heart, he protected his family and his friends fiercely and you always knew that he had your back. There are not enough words to describe the impact he made on so many lives. Gerry will be missed by so many and forever remembered.

A Celebration of Gerry’s life will be held at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. The Celebration of Life will be livestreamed on the Lee Funeral Home and Crematorium Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ALifeWellCelebrated for those who are not able to attend in person.
