Geraldine Brooks passed away January 17, 2026.
Geraldine, our beloved and valiant cancer warrior, our beautiful human with the biggest soul, has been set free from the pain, anxiety, and suffering with a 7-year battle with an aggressive, multi-point rate cancer.
Love you my twin (Michelle) and mama sure loves you. As well her “home-made” family – Carrie, Brandy, and Kelly. Also, to grieve is her girlfriend in Michigan (Michele Ureel), Little Dragon (Sofia). Thank you, Michele’s mother and father who made her feel loved, wanted, and always included.
Thank you to the palliative care unit at the Regina Pasqua Hospital who aimed at keeping her in comfort during her last painful days. Thank you to Pasqua Hospital’s MSU Dept. and ICU for great care with her multiple stays and her miracle survival of diagnoses that were so grim.
Gerrpoo you will be forever most definitely missed our precious girl. Rest in peace Gerrpoo, we all love you and miss you beyond words. Till the day mama and I see and be with you again (Michelle and Mama).
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
