Gordon is predeceased by his Kokum and Mushum Bella and James Stonechild; mother, Dorothy Desnomie; brother, Patrick Desnomie. He leaves to mourn his passing, brother, Theodore Stonechild (Shirley); sister, Shelly Desnomie; his cherished children, Mandan and John Starr, Shirlee, Robert, Gordon, Roberta, Bella, Patrick, Mary, Kyla; nine grandchildren; the mothers of children, Karen Kequahtooway and Myrna Starr; as well as numerous uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A traditional wake will be held at the Indian Metis Christian Fellowship (IMCF), 3131 Dewdney Ave., Regina on Thursday November 5, 2015 at 5:00pm. The funeral service will be held at IMCF on Friday November 6, 2015 at 9:00am, with Elder Mike Pinay officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Lunch to follow.
