Lena passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 1, 2012 in her home. She was born on June 21, 1924 in Misso, Germany & came to Canada as an infant. She is predeceased by her parents Edward & Anna Lick, husband Roy (1995), son Edward (2002), granddaughter Jennifer (1997), brother Edward & sister Charlotte. Lena is survived by her children: Lorraine (Larry Newton), Roger, Carol (Mike Lovett), Harry & Mona (Darwin (Red) Foster), as well as daughter-in-law Gail. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren. Lena served in the Canadian Armed Forces. She was a very quiet lady who enjoyed being with her family, loved gardening, crafts & playing a game of bingo. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service for Lena will take place on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
