Jon Edward Burnett

Jon was predeceased by his father Ronald; grandparents Jack and Dorothy and Wayne and Ruth; aunts Dorothy Cooper and Kathleen Graham. He is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his son Jordan Burnett; moms Kathleen Burnett and Carol Lyman, uncles David Cooper and Ronald Graham; cousins Irene (Bud), Joanne (Franz), Kelly, Barbara (Willy), David, Ted , Terry, Linda, Michael, Cindy, Maria, John, Sherry, Sheena, Gordon and many second cousins. Jon had many, many friends and co-workers that he spoke about, and a very close bond to the Ackerman family, Manuel, Marilyn, Sarah (David), Andrew and Patty (Wes)

Jon was one of the “good guys.” As a testament to his character, Jon donated what he could so now up to 10 people will see life through his eyes. He also said that he “hoped the fellow who hit him was okay.” The last words we heard Jon say were “I love you.” He was a kind-hearted and gentle soul whose memory will be cherished forever.

Jon’s family invites you to join them at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. for a time of fellowship and sharing.
