Marcella was born and grew up in the Marieval (Crooked Lake) Metis settlement. She moved to Regina where she met her husband Obilio (Bill). Marcella worked in different jobs adding to the household finances. Later Marcella worked as the administrator and accountant in her husband’s business, B. M Masonry. She lived for her children Natalie and Ricky and her grandson Matthew.
Marcella was a very private person with a small circle of family and friends. If you were in her circle, you were blessed because she was loyal, kind, caring, loving and wanted nothing but the best for you. She had many health issues that caused her daily pain. She was so strong and brave and was determined to overcome these illnesses so she could be there for her family. She leaves us a legacy of determination and persistence to get through life’s challenges with grace and dignity. These gifts she shared with us will live on in those of us who were fortunate to have had her in our lives.
Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, May 24 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia Church, 5020 7th Avenue Regina, Sask. Internment will be at the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboia Avenue E.
