Mario Ricci

1943-2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mario Ricci, who departed this life on May 14, 2026 at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan. He was born on July 15, 1943 in Torricella Sicura, Italy and he immigrated to Canada in 1966. Mario was a man who defined himself by his dedication to his family and his unwavering work ethic. Known for his “get it done” attitude, he spent his life in construction, building not just many of the structures in and around Regina, but a stable, loving life for his family.

Mario was a dedicated husband to Mary, his loving wife of 56 years. He was a devoted father to his daughter Matilda, son Stanley, and daughter-in-law Jackie. One of his greatest joys was being the best grandfather to his grandchildren Jacob and Lyla.

Mario’s hands were never idle, and his heart was always set on providing the best for his wife and kids. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends will never be forgotten.

A funeral will be held on May 25, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, officiated by Angela Fraser. An interment will follow the luncheon at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
