Marion Marlene Kay

Marlene passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2013 in Regina, SK at the age of 59 years. She was predeceased by her grandparents, parents Michael J Kay and Mary Anne Kay (Dustyhorn), husband Matthew J Dustyhorn, and sons Matthew E. and Orval; three brothers Sanford, Eugene M. and Remy J. and one sister Diane M. Desjarlais. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by sons Joseph, Ronald and Trevor and daughters Penny, Eleanor and Maxine and her grandchildren; siblings Jerry, Seraphine (Michael), Karen (Farrell), Rachael (Brian), Dwayne (Yvonne), Geraldine (Garry). Patricia (Ryan), Bernadette Kay and adopted brother Rick Kotowich (Patricia), as well as numerous nieces and nephews and close friends. A Wake at the School Gym on the Kawacatoose First Nation starts Monday, March 11 at 4:00 PM and the traditional Funeral Service, officiated by Elder Ernie Worm, to be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Marlene loved her family dearly and lived her life trusting in the Creator and traditions. She gracefully accepted the help of others. The Family extends many thanks to community members, the healthcare providers of Lakeview Lodge and the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region, and to staff of other community agencies.
