Born January 4th, 1922.
Marjorie passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK at the age of 100 years.
She was predeceased by her father and mother Jess and Mabel (nee Newstead) Godkin; husband Raymond; brother Clarence; sisters Jean Lowes and Ethel Sinclair; brothers-in-law Tom Lowes, Graham Sinclair, Nick Sanson, and George Cleggett.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter Lynn Devon; sisters Dorothy Sanson and Joyce Cleggett; sister-in-law Beulah Godkin; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was born on the family farm North of Balcarres, SK and was the eldest of six children, she took her schooling at Violette School. Marj loved playing piano for her own enjoyment and dancing at the Trionon years ago. She was a member of the Sask. Territorials during the War and worked for Simpson Sears for 32 years until they closed.
Marjorie spent her last three years in a private care home, a special thanks to all of her caregivers, Al and Betty Massier who took her to church and bible study, Pastor Ted and Majestic Manor for her great care.
Funeral Service to be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 4th Avenue North, Regina, SK.
