Maurice Moe Martin Zimmerman

Maurice (Moe) Martin Zimmerman born July 26, 1937 in Stoughton, Saskatchewan, passed away at the age of 77. He was the only child of Gertrude and Anthony Zimmerman. He was a kind and caring man who loved the outdoors and travelling. He was a devoted friend to many and loved spending time talking with friends over a cup of coffee. In 1960 he was in the first graduating class of Civil Engineering Technology at the Saskatchewan Technical Institute in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Moe was Member #3, Past President and Past Chairman of the Certification Board, of the Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (SASTT); and will be forever commemorated by the "Maurice M. Zimmerman, A.Sc.T. Excellence in Technical Instruction Award." He was a recipient of the Saskatchewan Centennial Leadership Award in 2005. He was a proud and grateful member of A.A since 1973. A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK and the Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 4th, 2015 at 12 noon at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 2049 Scarth Street, Regina, SK.
