Mildred J Kovatch

Mildred passed away peacefully in her sleep and we are grateful for this blessing. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Adam in 2017; her children Joanne and Martin; and grandson John Allan. Mildred is survived by her children Lorraine (Maurice), Robert (Debra), Tim (Wendy), Moe (Christine), and Scott (Jackie); grandchildren James (Kathy), Carolyn, Ryan (Melanie), Jason (Lorraine), Brad (Krystie), Amy (Jarrett), Adam (Kristen), Nikki, Christopher, LeeAnn, Krystal (Ricardo), Jennifer (Chad), Nikita (Justin), Joshua, and Noelle; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mildred was always involved in many activities that focused around her family. She was the Secretary Treasurer of Saint Michael School for the entire time her five children attended there. She was also a member of the CWL for many years. Mom and dad moved to Kelowna, BC in 1970 and enjoyed 13 wonderful years there. As always, mom made sure their home was open to all their friends and family from the prairies. Mildred’s treasures were her children and family spending every moment with them, whether in town or at the cottage, always sharing her family home with aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mom’s passion for cards and Yahtzee was always evident when the grand children were around and wanted to play a game with grandma.

A very special thank you to the staff of Sunset Extendicare for the great care and love that they showed mom over the past eight years. Please be aware that both mom and her family appreciate all that you do.

Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 1021 McCarthy Blvd, Regina, SK, on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
