Millie was born in Regina on April 5, 1937 and died on April 18, 2017 after a battle with cancer. She started her nursing career at the Regina Grey Nuns Hospital, graduating in 1959, following which she started work at the Balcarres Union Hospital where she met her husband Cunliffe and was married in 1962. She brought up two children, Jeffrey (1963) and Brian (1966) and over the years lived in various locations in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. She was passionate about sewing, embroidery and crocheting and experienced travel to many countries. Millie is predeceased by her son Jeffrey, parents: John and Blanche; sisters Ellen, Audrey and Irene; and brothers Bill and Dick. She is survived by her husband Cunliffe, son Brian (Jacalyn), grandchildren Zoe and Zachary, and brothers Herb (Eleanor) and Lloyd. Honouring her request, there will be no formal service.
