

Murray is predeceased by his parents: Ron (1994) Mary (1997), his sister Theresa Mary (1960) , his nephews: Bradley Craig (1982), Christopher Gordon (1989), all lost in infancy. His Brother David (2019).
Murray is survived by his brother Ron, his sisters: Donna, Cathie (Cal),
Linda (Kevin). Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Born recently is his great great niece.
Murray was born on January 5, 1959. He attended St. Michael’s elementary school and O’Neil high school where he excelled in sport. In his youth he played for the Regina Red Sox and Maroons junior baseball league. Where he went on to compete in the Western Canadian Championship and continued on with the Canadian Championship. He also played hockey for the Regina Pats Canadians- Pat Blues. In 1977 Murray started working at Simpson Sears and continued till 1993. Murray retired from The Co-operators Jan 2024 where he worked as a Document Service Clerk since 1999.
Murray has a love for music, especially classic rock. He loved his Buddy (cat) and all our furry pet friends. He is a big fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Montreal Canadians, always represented his teams. Curling became one of his favorites, also Murray’s last 4 years were met with adversity for him and his family. The family would like to take a moment to thank all those who took time to visit Murray when he was hospitalized for all those months. We are sure it aided in his recovery. Our Brother Murray is a gentle quiet soul who just wanted to hang out and be with family. He will be missed Forever, Rest in Peace with the Many Family waiting to greet you Dear Brother. Until we meet again.

A viewing for Murray will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan S4T 0Y5. A a celebration of life will occur Friday, June 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Serbian Club, 2775 Avonhurst Drive, Regina, Saskatchewan S4R 5R4.
