Murray Donohue

Murray grew up in the Prince Albert area where he worked on the family farm and at Burns and Co where he met Doreen.

Murray and Doreen were married September 17th, 1960. They were a couple weeks away from celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.

Murray began to work for the SK Wheat Pool in 1964. The family made homes in Regina, St Thomas Ontario, Swift Currant, Moosomin, Saskatoon and finally back in Regina. Murray travelled to rural Saskatchewan for his job and met many good friends.

Murray and Doreen have two sons Christopher Shawn and Patrick Todd. Many hours were spent at the ball diamond as both boys played competitive baseball. Murray was very proud of his two boys as they both are pilots. Chris was part of the flight crew that flew Murray and Doreen to Hawaii in 2018. Murray logged many hours as Pat's co-pilot as they flew all over North America. Murray and Doreen have three grandsons and one great granddaughter. All three grandsons had a special relationship with their Granddad.

Murray was very much a people person. He loved the sun and would sit in his garage and talk to all that passed by the open door. The neighborhood will miss him.

Murray is survived by his wife Doreen, his son Chris (Corrie, Jordan and Ryan, his wife Brooke and daughter Elle), son Pat (Zachary). Murray is predeceased by his parents Jack and Carrie, his in-laws Mike and Rose Paul.

A come and go Celebration of Life will be held September 28th from 2 to 4 at the Kramer Aviation Hangar, 2440 Chipmunk Drive at the Regina Airport. A short program will be held at 3:00pm.

We will miss Murray's sense of humor and his passion for family.
