1955 – 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pam Kuntz on March 3rd, 2026 with family by her side. Pam was predeceased by her parents John and Phil Kuntz. Left to cherish Pam’s memory are her children: Scott Tunney, Paul Tunney, Danielle Tunney and Kaitlyn (Danny) Owens: and her grandchildren Kane and Asher. She also had many honorary family members including Ashley (Chris) Thompson and children Tessa, Stetsyn, Wyatt and Rhett. Sharing our memories are her siblings Wayne Kuntz and Wendy (Chris) Mokelki, as well as the members of the extended Kuntz family, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Pam spent her life focused on raising her four children and teaching at Vibank School for 35 years. She’d often be found pouring any extra time she had into multiple community groups over the years. It was no secret that she was very proud of her children and the work she put into achieving her Master’s Degree in Education.
Pam loved to sew, knit, read, and going for coffee with her friends. In her last years, one of her favourite past times was spending time with Kane and Asher, and watching the joy they brought to the whole family. Pam always had such a love for all children and always treated them like her own.
We will miss her always, and remember her strength, courage, and the devotion she had to her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
