After a brief illness and surrounded by his loving family, Ron went to be with his Saviour the Lord Jesus at the age of 71. Ron is survived by his wife of 46 years Ann; his daughters Lesley (Barrie) and Cheryl (Iain); 6 grandchildren Kelsey, Adin, Avery, Iain, Finlay and Zoey; siblings Geraldine, Georgina and Sandra as well as many nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his son Michael; his father George and his mother Mary. Ron celebrated working 50 years at Coca-Cola in 2014 and then went on to retire in September, 2015 just prior to his diagnosis. Ron was an avid sports fan and loved to cheer on the Saskatchewan Roughriders who were second only to any game his grandchildren were playing. Ron’s energy, smile and ability to make friends with anyone will be sadly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at Rosewood Park Alliance Church at Courtney Street and Whelan Drive, Regina, Saskatchewan on Tuesday April 12, 2016 at 11:00 am with a tea to follow.
