It is with great sadness we say good-bye to our Brother, Uncle and Friend Roy Aune. Roy is predeceased by his parents Norman and Margaret Aune. He is survived by sister Lorry-Gale (Norman) Nerland; Nephew Jody Willis; Niece Cindy (Gerry) Kovacs and Great Niece Hannah. Roy grew up in Yorkton. He was known for his adventurous spirit which led him quite often to his favorite place, York Lake. It was there he had made many happy memories. Roy made his home in B.C in his late teens where he lived in Vancouver for approximately 15 years. He moved back to Regina to be with his family and he resided here for the remaining years of his life. Roy’s working career was in the Drywall Trade. He loved music, was an accomplished guitar player and loved to watch the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was a quiet soul and treated everyone he met with gentleness and kindness. We will miss him greatly and take comfort that his spirit is now at rest. Arrangements under the direction of Lee Funeral Home and Crematorium, Regina, SK.
