Sarah Nicole Johnstone

1993 – 2026

It is with great sadness that the family of Sarah Nicole Johnstone, born on February 1, 1993, announce that she began her heavenly journey on March 19, 2026. Sarah was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Ernest (Adeline) Kaiswatum from Piapot Cree Nation; her maternal grandfather, John Johnstone; and mother, Darylea Leonda Johnstone from Mistawasis Cree Nation.

Sarah is survived by her Dad, Allan (Monica) Kaiswatum; Grandmother, Erma Crowe; her beloved Fiancé and Best Friend, Arlen Clifton Deegan; Brothers, Joshua “Matoo” Johnstone, Jayden Johnstone, Kaidence Kaiswatum, Allen Kaiswatum JR, Ernest Kaiswatum, Gage Kaiswatum and Terri Peequaquat; Sisters, Brooke “Abby” (Nikcoma) Johnstone, Raven Johnstone, Alexandra Johnstone, Khloe Kaiswatum, Tianna Alexson, Jennifer Kaiswatum, and, Naydene Kaiswatum. Sarah left behind numerous Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and Friends who loved and cared for her dearly.

The Wake will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Ave East in Regina, SK. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. Burial will take place at Piapot Cree Nation #75 Cemetery, Piapot Cree Nation, SK on April 2, 2026. Following the burial, the family would like to invite everyone to Chief Payepot School to share a meal with them.
