Shelly Ann Drake

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Shelly Ann Drake, Wife, Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt and Friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, May 30, 2016 at the age of 51, after a courageous battle with cancer.Shelly is survived by her best friend and husband, Rod, son Eric (Michelle), grandchildren Caine and Chloe, daughter Kimberley (Courtney), MacKenzie and Jacob, sisters Bev (Rick), Laurie (Ken), brother, Allan, sister-in-law Charlotte (Brett), her loving mother-in-law Clara Drake, numerous nieces and nephews and her loyal companion Bailey. She is pre-deceased by her mother, Marie, her father, Bill and father-in-law, Jack.Shelly was a loyal employee for Canadian Linen and provided 31 years of dedicated service doing a job that she loved and during those years she developed many everlasting friendships. She enjoyed spending time with her family, which included camping with her grandchildren, backyard barbeques, pool and garage parties and simply enjoying life in the sun. She also enjoyed many years of attending the Craven Country Jamboree with numerous friends. At Shelly’s request, the funeral will be a private event for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre or the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK.
