On Friday, November 12th, 2010, our beloved mother passed away at the Lumsden & District Heritage Home. She was born and raised on the farm in the Dilke district and resided in Dilke, Saskatchewan her whole life where she and her husband Tony raised a family of eight children. Dedication to her family, her church and her extended families was always her top priority. Her numerous friends and neighours were very important to her. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Tony in 2003, her son Gary in 1988, her parents Alex and Phillipina Fuchs, her brother Conrad Fuchs in 1997, twin sisters Frances and Phillipina in 1927, her son-in-law, Albert Duesing and her grandson Paul Duesing. Her memory remains in the hearts of her children; Colleen Duesing of Dilke, Sask. and her family: Ryan (Candace) Duesing; Jason (Reila) Duesing; Scott (Rhianna) Duesing, great-grandchildren, Nolan, Jordan, Alexandra, Paul, Juleah, AJ, Anayea and Henry Duesing; Michael Gartner (Glenda) of Saskatoon and his family: Joel Gartner; Jana Schmidt and great-grandaughter Emmi; Raymond Gartner (Judy) of Regina and his family: Mark Gartner; Chrissy (Armando) Bottaro; David Gartner of Regina; Tom Gartner of Regina and his family: Alysha and Shelby Gartner; Roberta Curtis (Dan) of Bethune, Sask., and her family: Nikki, Alex, Cassie and special buddy Jacob; Brenda Folk (Rod) of Regina, and her family: Brittany and Brayden; Her grandson Chad Lowe of Lashburn, Sask., and his parents Loretta and Alistair Lowe of Regina. Mourning her loss is her brother Peter (Elsie) Fuchs of Dilke, Sask.; her devoted sisters Rose (Alfred) Shropp of Holdfast, Sask.; and Frances (Carl) Walter of Francis, Sask.; and her sisters-in-law Frances Fuchs of Dilke and Annette Gartner of Lumsden; her numerous nieces and nephews; her extended Gartner family, her special cousins; other relatives and friends and neighbours will miss her warmth, sweet and loving nature and generous spirit. The family would like to give a special thanks to the compassionate staff at the Lumsden and District Heritage Home for the wonderful care that our Mother received during her stay. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday Nov. 16th at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Father Felipe Faustino, celebrant. Interment after mass in Dilke Cemetery.
