Theresa was born and raised in Dilke SK, then later moved to Regina to complete Grade 12 before entering Nursing School. She graduated from the Grey Nuns’ Hospital as a Registered Nurse in 1954, an accomplishment she was forever proud of. She dedicated herself to care for others.
In 1960 she married her best friend, George Lipp. Together, they raised their children Dale and Kathy. She found great joy in raising her family in Regina, and spending time at the cottage at Lipps’ Beach. She welcomed all who drove out to the lake for a visit. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, flower gardening and hosting large house parties for birthdays and anniversaries. Her warmth, kindness and sense of humour will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Brightwater Senior Living. Their exceptional care and compassion provided great comfort, especially during the last few weeks.

“God saw she was getting tired
And a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around her
And whispered, “Come with Me”
We watched her fade away.
Although we loved her dearly,
We could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.”
“When a loved one becomes a memory that memory becomes a treasure.”
