Carole Ruth Williams

Carole Ruth Ingersoll was born on August 19, 1929 in Seattle, Washington. Her parents were Clyde and Delma Ingersoll. She had two siblings, an older brother, Ronald and an older sister, Florence. She attended Lincoln High School in Seattle. After high school she travelled across the country to attend Aurora College in Aurora, Illinois where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Home Economics. The day after college graduation she married the love of her life, Keith Harold Williams.

Keith and Carole had their first child, Linda, in Aberdeen, Maryland. Linda was born on Carole’s birthday and they have built many special memories celebrating birthdays together ever since. In 1956, Keith and Carole moved to Ketchikan, Alaska. This would be the home in which they raised their 5 children-Linda, Mardel, David, Nancy, and Karen. In Ketchikan, Carole and Keith spent 33 happy years attending their kids’ activities, helping at Orton Ranch Church Camp, and dedicated time to attending and volunteering at First Baptist Church.

After retirement, Keith and Carole moved to Sequim, Washington where they were very involved in the community at Sequim Bible Church. Their 15 grandchildren will forever cherish happy memories at Grandma and Grandpa’s home in Sequim where they spent wonderful holidays together as an extended family.

Carole leaves a legacy of faith and a family who loves her. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Keith Williams, her son David Williams (Tammie), daughters Linda Byram (Mark), Mardel Mearig (Tim), Nancy Leuenberger (Dirk) and Karen Blankenbeckler (Jim), and her grandchildren Ryan Byram, Kent Mearig (Breea), Julie Isom (Ray), Kirk Mearig (Nikki), Melissa Blankenbeckler, Karlin Davis (Emmett), Jaime Giampapa (Dean), Janae Williams, Kristin Williams, Kyle Blankenbeckler, Erica Leuenberger, Jesse Leuenberger, Luke Blankenbeckler, Tara Leuenberger, and Jace Blankenbeckler, and her great grandchildren Della Mearig, Elizabeth Isom, Lena Mearig, Jackson Mearig, Madison Isom, Lucy Mearig.
