Born August 4th, 1953 in Seattle Washington, died July 15th, 2017 in Kent Washington at the age of 63. He graduated from Queen Anne High School in 1971 in Seattle Washington, and then enlisted in the United States Army for a brief time. Shortly thereafter, Chris began his career in the marine industry, specializing in propellers. In 1990 through a mutual friend Chris was introduced to and later married his wife of 24 years, Amy Jo Bradford. Chris loved his propellers, massive miniature clock collection and ALL things brass, the more detail the better. He loved animals of all kinds, especially his sweet kitty, and feline mini-me, Misty Moo Moo. He was preceded in death by his father Rudolph Owen Houge and brother Don “Scoot” Houge. Chris is survived by his wife Amy Jo Bradford Houge, Kent; mother Rhea Buck, Kent: sisters Ginger (Phil) Stevens, Portland: Melinda Phillips, Bainbridge 4 nieces and nephews; Kimberly Phillips, Elizabeth Bruce, Eric and Scott Stevens; 1 great nephew Jonathan Bruce.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Union Gospel Mission, the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
