

He was born December 21, 1958 in Topeka, Kansas to Don and Beverly Krogh. He moved with his family to Des Moines, Washington when he was seven years old. He grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Mount Rainier High School in 1977.
After high school he attended Northwest Bible College where he met and married his wife, Diane. They were married for 34 years and had two children. He enjoyed being a Baseball Umpire for eight years at all levels from Little League to Semi-Pro. He was Head Custodian for New Life Church for 29 years. He was also a Bus Driver for Renton School District for 13 years. Last December he celebrated with friends and family his 30 years of having survived a life threatening brain abscess.
David never met a stranger. He was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and his sports enthusiasm. His service to others was exemplary. His devotion to family and to Jesus Christ was beyond measure.
He is survived by his wife Diane Krogh of Renton, his daughter Kristen Chamberlin and her husband Ryan of Auburn, his son Derek Krogh and his wife Britney of Renton, his granddaughter Kylie Krogh of Renton, his parents Don and Beverly Krogh of Des Moines, and his sister Sharon Colby and her husband Tom of SeaTac.
His life will be celebrated on Saturday, March 21st at New Life Church at 11:00 am (Livestream available at http://new.livestream.com/nlchurch).
