Even though our time together over the years was limited, I'm so happy I was able to spend a few wonderful moments in time. I will remember her sweet demeanor, her cute little giggle, and they way she welcomed us into her heart every time we saw her.

Her love for her children was obvious by they way they always surrounded her with love. 

Rest peacefully, and have a wonderful time with all our family in heaven.. until we meet again....we love you auntie.

Eddy, while we did not know your mother, the loving way you spoke of her and the caring way in which you helped her during her final years showed what a wonderful person she must have been. We are so sorry for your loss but you will always have her loving memory with you.  The Flower family.

The sky was crying while I spoke today:

Ma was more than our mom.
 She was a wonderful dear friend 
our mentor - teaching,
reminding,encouraging-
Yet she acted like a kid 
when we all played
games we love.

 She had an amazing talent to look
through the pain,
 suffering,
the heartache 
and grasp the silver lining
 in those dark clouds
 we all face 
and turn them into rays of sun

She was unselfish- wanting to give 
and not receive, at times to a fault.
Her heart was larger than life 
what a sweet sweet gentle soul.
Anyone who got to know her - loved her

Mom We owe you so much
that in our lifetimes 
we couldn't begin to
repay the love and care you gave.

And strong

 Being Married to a Basaraba was too much for most,
growing a farm-sized garden and pretty flowers everywhere
and  raising 4 little demons and one almost perfect angel [me]
fixing the vittles and canning, 
doing the books 
and sewing and cleaning and holding a job 
and for years by herself while hubby played trucker. 

Later after pondering her life she didn't know how she did it.
But she did and that strength was love.

We love you Ma. Always always in our hearts. 
And we just know you are now just over our shoulder 
guarding and guiding the path 
we hope to take to see you again.

Ed, Mike, Diane, Debby and Donna, I am so sorry for your loss.  Your mom was such a sweet and wonderful lady.  She spent a lot of hours babysitting me as a kid. It is a very difficult thing to lose your mother. I will try and make it to the service. Much love, Kathy DeJesus (Lee)
