Mom,
You made it to every event and important moments in our lives. You were a den mother, a 4-H mom, a working mom, a mom of an artist, a talent show choreographer, and a fashion designer. You marched in our schools when we had been treated unjust and set them straight. You were our nurse when we were ill, our shoulder to cry on when life wasn't fair, and your arms were our blanket when we just needed our mom. 
When we had children of our own, you did it all over again with just as much enthusiasm and energy. No matter how you felt you were always there for us. You did it all with a smile and encouragement. No matter what we had said we wanted to be when we grew up I believe you would have told us to go for it. You would have given us your last dollar to try it.
Even though you said you loved us everyday, if you hadn't we still wouldn't have known. You loved us with every thing you were, heart and soul. You were an amazing, loving woman with a heart filled with love and kindness, and a soul of an angel. You were my first best friend.  How wonderful life was while you were in the world. There are no words to describe how you are so very missed . We love you forever.

I barely remember a time when you were not in my life.  I remember so many camping trips as a little girl where you would tolerate our shenanigans.  I'll always cherish the support you were during my crazy teenage years and the care and attention you put into planning my first baby shower.  I have countless priceless memories of our Christmases and so many more amazing times together.  

I already miss your stories and your laugh and I'll always cherish that extra big squeeze you gave me as we said goodbye the last time I saw you.

You became my family and stayed that way to the end.

Oh Denell, I’m so very sorry about you loosing your Mom. I’m keeping you in my thoughts & heart. 

My nana was a very special lady with the sweetest heart. Some of my favorite memories were sleeping over at her house and watching movies. She would make my favorite dish, popcorn in her popcorn maker, and she would have me pick the movie of the night-sometimes we'd watch 2! We'd either laugh our butts off watching Home Alone, or we'd get googly eyes watching Elvis in Blue Hawaii. 

I will miss her singing to me in the mornings. I remember her singing "you are my sunshine" to me often. She would also sing "goodmorning, gooooodmorning, the best to you each morning" when she woke me up. 

I miss coming to her house and hearing Elvis or Johnny Cash on the record player and seeing her prance around the living room just busy as a bee. 

So many fun and loving memories I have with her. I will love her always.
