What can I say about John, my brother-in-law, of so many years?  I was only 10 years old when he married my beloved sister Maryjo on November 23, 1963 ... the day after President Kennedy was assassinated.  It was a crazy time back then and while the world mourned, it was also a joyous time as I watched the "cool couple" drive away from the church in "Sweeney", John's VERY COOL 50's era ford!

John was devoted to his family and with his passing I like to think that he and Maryjo are up in heaven burning up the skyways in old Sweeney.

Rest in Peace and know that you are missed.

John and I met on a cursillo( men's retreat)weekend and continued our friendship over the next 40+years. More than anything else, John loved his family. He loved all his girls and doted over Nick. He loved each one of them very, very, very, much because he talked about them all the time!
 Remember, we said, "whoever gets into heaven first has to help the other one get in too!" I'll be looking for you.
