Khanh was born December 22, 1937 in Ha Tien, Vietnam to Trung Tran and Hien Truong. He graduated from Thu Duc military college in Saigon in 1964 and was active as an officer in the South Vietnamese war from 1964 to 1975. In October 1995, he immigrated to Seattle, WA as a refugee.
Khanh’s favorite activities were reading, gardening, photography, and walking. His garden was always blooming with cosmos, marigolds, chrysanthemums and roses. He enjoyed reading newspapers and kept albums full of pictures he had taken himself of his family. Most of all, he enjoyed cooking food for himself and for those that he loved.
Khanh is survived by his wife Tam, his daughters Linh and Lan, his grandchildren Kathleen, Richard and Khoa, his sons-in-law Hieu and Son.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation on September Sunday 29th, 2019 at 3-8pm at Greenwood Memorial Park Funeral Home, 350 Monroe Ave Ne. Renton WA 98056. The funeral services will be from 1-2 pm on Monday, September 30th, 2019 at Greenwood Memorial Park Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow from 2-3 pm on Monday, September 30th, 2019 at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family gratefully declines donations but prayers, condolences and memories are gladly accepted.
