Marcelo Garcia Wong

Marcelo was born December 3rd, 1931 in Makati City, Metro Manila Philippines to Lee Tong Wong and Bernabela Garcia. He married his wife on January 24th 1951, for which they just recently celebrated their 68 years of blissful marriage. He was blessed with four children, Melinda, Ricardo, Jocelyn, and Clarissa.

He migrated to the US in 1987 and worked as a security guard in San Francisco, California, until he retired.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle, who always give advices, taught wisdom, with a helping hand to anyone who needs it. He was known for his witty jokes, generosity, compassion and unending love and kindness.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his four siblings and his only son Ricardo. Marcelo will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife Juliana, his children Melinda, Jocelyn, and Clarissa. He will also be remembered by his grandchildren Michael, Kathleen, Carlo, Liana, Patricia, JB, Creslyn, RM, Renzo, and Brian. His great grandchildren JR, Charles, Maegan, Remmel, Jae, Gabby, Karleigh Audrey, Xamantha Kristen, CJ, KC, Juliana, Mason, Gabrielle, Jaren, and Noah. His sisters Victoria and Liwayway.

The loss of his warm love and embraces leave a great void in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy of good faith, love, laughter, and kindness will continue through all lives he touched.
