Patricia Ann Seibert, aged 78, of Burien, went to join Our Heavenly Father and her beloved husband, Don after a brief, but valiant fight against cancer. She passed surrounded by those she dearly loved at the Seattle VA Hospitals Community Living Center on Beacon Hill at 9:20 am on June 11th, 2024.
Pat was born on August 25th, 1945 to William and Archadene (Voorhees) Dietzman. She was married on November 26th, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Donald H. Seibert, the love of her life. Pat worked for the phone company for many years before following her dream of joining the U.S. Navy, where she earned several awards, ribbons, and medals as a dispersing clerk, holding a rank of DK-1 and E6. It was during her time in Navy that she met her husband and had two children.
Pat was honorably discharged and medically discharged from the Navy in 1989, moving from Virginia to Washington State where she worked as a temporary office worker until going back to school and graduating in 1998 with a degree in medical assisting, retiring after a few years of additional work in that field.
Pat was the 3rd of 5 children, with an older brother and sister, and two younger brothers. Her parents and all three brothers preceded her in death, including her husband, fifteen years prior to 2009. Patricia is survived by her older sister Maxine (Bonney), her son Eugene and daughter Karen, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and honorary children.
Pat was more than everyone's mom (or Grandma), and loved all as if they were her own family. Her laugh was infectious and brought a smile, even if you barely knew her.
In memory of her consistent love - May the Lord hold you in the palm of his hand.
