Peggy Sue Mathis-Hibbitts was born on November 15th, 1961 in Brigham City, Utah to Garner and Charlotte Mathis. She was 51 years old when she lost her battle to breast cancer on May 13th, 2013 at her home residence in Renton, WA. She was a licensed cosmetologist who volunteered her time to the Renton Community and School District as a cheer coach and choreographer. She loved working with children and spent her life teaching, inspiring, and mentoring.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who dearly loved being a grandmother most of all. She was survived by: her husband James Hibbitts Jr.; her three children Doniell Cushman, Brittiany Divelbiss, and James Hibbitts III; and her three grandchildren Jeannie, Marcus, and Chloe Divelbiss.
