Robert Victor Abiera was born on July 13, 1965. He passed away on August 26, 2021. Robert grew up in the Seattle area and attended Blanchet High School. From there he went on to study at the University of Washington. Robert always had a strong interest in technology, be it flying drones or the latest Apple or PC gadgets. He worked in IT support for companies such as Alaska Airlines and most recently GE. For years Robert loved playing lotto and never gave up on using his tech skills to develop an algorithm that could pick the winning numbers.
He was also a car enthusiast, owning an array of vehicles ranging from an army-green Plymouth Satellite to a slick-black Audi A8. Everywhere he went, Robert always looked for good deals. On his birthday, Robert loved going to Red Robin – for the delicious free burger, of course.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents – Roberto and Eleanor Abiera – and is survived by his sister, Elaine. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 16, at 10 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Renton, Washington.
