

Shirley passed away peacefully March 22, 2016 while residing at the Weatherly Inn, Kent Washington. She is survived by husband Richard Tarasuk, daughters Pamela Browning and Linda Espe(Gary), daughter-in-law Debbie Britten, grandchildren Jordan and Carter Browning, and cousin Judy Chambers(Bob).
Shirley graduated from Cleveland High School in Seattle, Washington in 1952. She enjoyed family and friends, gardening and photographing everything, especially flowers. Shirley was a world traveler. Australia, Thailand, Europe to name a few. She was a platinum member of Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.
Shirley danced professionally with the Barkley Girls in the 1950s, performing with headliners Bob Hope and Louie Armstrong at the Palomar Theater in Seattle.
While volunteering her time at the Renton Senior Activity Center she managed the Meals-on-Wheels program.
Shirley is predeceased by her son David Browning and her brother Terrance Laing.
She will be greatly missed and remain in our hearts forever.
Shirley will rest alongside her late husband Raymond Browning at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
