Troy Blaine Meade

Sunrise: November 4th 1945

Sunset: February 8th 2022

Troy left this earth to be with his heavenly father on February 8th, 2022 but not after a victorious battle of surviving both cancer and a stroke.

Troy was born to his parents Hubert and Della Meade and was raised alongside 1 brother and 4 sisters. He was a graduate from Clintwood High School in 1965 and remained in the Clintwood area until his Military calling from Uncle Sam. He served proudly in the Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. Troy married his sweetheart Susan Meade (Likes) in 1970 and began working at the Boeing Co in 1974 where he was a diligent and hardworking employee until his retirement in 2005.

Troy was proceeded in death by his parents Hubert and Della Meade, Maternal Grandparents: Arvil and Virgie Meade, Fraternal Grandparents: Papa Carlton and Mawmaw Julie Fleming

Troy’s survived by his wife, Susan, his two daughters Melinda (Tracy) and Jolene (Ramon), many other relatives: Roy, Fred, David, and Judy Kay (whom all reside in Clintwood, VA) and a host of loved cousins, nephews and nieces and of course his granddaughters.

Troy loved his 4 granddaughters Adrianna, Jasmine, Joscelyn and Kiana (He often joked about being outnumbered by all the girls!)

During his life, Troy enjoyed many vacations with his wife and grand-girls. He was so friendly to everyone and always put others before himself. "Never Met a Stranger"

Troy will be deeply missed by his family and friends

Troy will be laid to rest at: Tahoma National Cemetery
