Jean Lynne Miller, age 70 of Pine Lake, passed away peacefully at Friendly Village in Rhinelander, WI., after 3 months of care, surrounded by her loving family. She attended Green Tree Elementary School in Glendale and graduated from Nicolet High School in June of 1959. Jean and Marty were married in November of 1959. They raised their family in Menomonee Falls and lived there for 34 years before retiring to Rhinelander in 1998. Jean attended WCTC for an associate accounting degree and was an accountant for 15 years along with working in credit and collections. She also did the accounting for her husband’s consumer electronics repair business for the last 30 years. She was an avid bowler and participated in many tournaments. She enjoyed her gardening, doing craftwork, boating and snowmobiling. Since 1971 snowmobiling was a family affair and many weekends were spent up north. In 1981 they bought a vacation home in Rhinelander and spent most of their free time there. They joined the Hodag Sno-Trails Club. In 1998 Mary retired and they moved to Rhinelander to enjoy Northern Wisconsin permanently. Marty still continued to do repairs with Jean’s help. They became members of Trinity Lutheran Church where she enjoyed the Bible Study Groups. Jean and Marty spent many hours fishing, boating and sledding together and family came quite often to be with them. In 2009 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with many old friends and family.
Jean is survived by her husband, Martin (Marty), son David (Joan) Miller, daughter Laura (Tim) Schwanz, granddaughter Amy (Russ) Brown, their three children, Miranda, Mikko and Skylar and granddaughter Angela Miller and her son Donovan.
