Ruth Margaret Ellis

Ruth M. Ellis, age 89, formally of Rhinelander, died, September 12, 2012 at Willow Ridge Health Care in Amery, Wisconsin. She was born July 26, 1923 to Michael and Amelia (Schoeneck) Guolee in Bundy, Wisconsin. Ruth enjoyed playing cards and bingo and spending time with family and friends. She loved to clean; her house was always neat at a pin. Ruth resided in Rhinelander until 2007 when she moved to Amery to be near her daughter.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sandra White of Amery, WI, four grandchildren, Mike White of Eagan, Minnesota, Robert (Deb) White of Eau Claire, Tara Wohlrabe of Des Moines, IA and Matt Hageny of Muncie, Indiana and three great grandchildren; Amanda and Tim White and Jesslyn Elden, also nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, a daughter, Sharon Hagney and her brothers and sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 11:00am at Nativity of Our Lord ~ St. Mary’s site with Father Tom Thakadipuram officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00am at the church. Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
