How do I say goodbye to my favorite brother? (Aka the King of Come backs).
Growing up he had such a profound influence on my prospective in life.  
He taught me to never take things too seriously. Growing up, I tried so hard to mimic the funny faces he made. (The Lopez – hairy eye; the rolling eyeballs; the upper lip curl – drove Mom crazy!) I wanted to be just like him!
He taught me to be sensitive to others feelings. There but for the Grace of God.
Not to be greedy and to share with others. 
He taught me that it was important to be quiet and reserved sometimes, rather than the loudest at the table.
He taught me to stand up for myself and what I believed in. 
To have pride in anything I do, no matter how minuscule the task seemed to be.
He encouraged me to express my artistic side. (He couldn't draw human hands so anytime he had to draw them, he put frog feet on them – lol).
He was always there when I needed advise. He was my rock so many times when I doubted many critical decisions in life. It was reassuring to know he was always just a phone call away.
We were so much alike that Mom used to say that she should have named me Danielle. 
I loved him dearly and will miss him but never forget how much he affected my life.  I know that he will always be with me in my time of need.

To Margaret – It goes without saying that you and Danny had something so rare and precious. Most people go through life never really experiencing the joy of “True Love”. I know the two of you had this and my heart breaks for you. You and I became very close through the years and I want you to know that I love you just as much as my brother did. I am always here for you.

Maggie - When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.  Just like all the treasures you and everyone that knew Danny have.  Remembering all the times as kids, American Pie, and my last trip to Texas for your wedding renewal.  Danny was your rock and your soulmate.
