Davy Alex Eitel, 68, of Plano, Texas passed away January 27, 2015. He was born in Dallas, Texas on October 15, 1946 to Billy and Lida Eitel. Davy worked as a Fireman for the Plano Fire Department for many years and also served in the United States Navy prior to that. During his service in the US Navy, Davy served on the USS Enterprise during the Vietnam War. Davy’s true passion in life was his three daughters. He loved his girls more than anything in the world and cherished the fun times they shared together. He will be missed.
Davy was preceded in death by his father, Billy Eitel. He is survived by 3 daughters: Victoria Coleman, Tiffany Strasner and husband Jeff, and Samantha Eitel; grandchildren Dylan and Jaiden Coleman; mother Lida Eitel; brothers: Albert Eitel and Jerry Eitel and his wife Terry; the mother of his children and life long friend Kay Ridenour, and his dog and best friend, Gus.
Services for Davy will be held Saturday, January 31, at 10am at Meadows Baptist Church, 3001 Los Rios Blvd., Plano, Texas. Dr. Scott Fenton will officiate. Sparkman Richardson has charge of cremation arrangements.
