Herbert was great with people, and he was always making friends wherever he went. He loved his life, enjoyed travelling and his work at Thermal Solutions was his whole world. Herbert enjoyed his customers throughout the United States and he treated everyone like family, no matter what.
Herbert's greatest love was shopping! He also enjoyed weekend lunch dates every weekend, going to Neiman's for clothes and shoes, and the store Sur le Table for cook ware because he loved to cook meals. His favorite dish was Chicken Alfredo.
Herbert had close relations with everyone he knew, especially his family and his good friend Rosemary Rubio, and he enjoyed in depth conversations with Dena.
Herbert was fun loving, and he loved his weekends. He was very knowlegable and he was also very brave, and so strong.
His last two days were spent fighting cancer at his home, surrounded by his friends and family, as well as the Texas Hospice 24 Hour service staff. The staff was comforting, loving, devoted and fantastic as they effortlessly sat with Herbert in 2, 12-hour shifts. Carolina and Susan from Texas Hospice were especially dedicated.
